Transpersonal Psychology Coaching
Transpersonal Psychology
Transpersonal psychology is a branch of psychology that focuses on the spiritual aspects of the human experience. It goes beyond traditional psychology's focus on the individual and is concerned with the transcendent or spiritual aspects of human nature. Transpersonal psychology coaching can be a powerful tool for personal growth, helping individuals explore and understand deeper aspects of their consciousness and life purpose.

Key Concepts of Transpersonal Psychology Coaching
-
Holistic Approach: Transpersonal coaching considers the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—rather than just focusing on behaviors or cognitive patterns.
-
Self-Actualization: A core goal is to help individuals reach their fullest potential, embracing their unique path towards self-discovery and fulfillment.
-
Spiritual Awareness: Clients may explore their spiritual beliefs and experiences as part of the coaching process, helping them find meaning and purpose in their lives.
-
Altered States of Consciousness: Transpersonal coaches may incorporate techniques that facilitate altered states of consciousness, such as meditation, breathwork, or guided visualization, to access deeper levels of insight and awareness.
-
Interconnectedness: Coaching often emphasizes the interconnectedness of all life and encourages a sense of unity with the world around us.
-
Transcendence and Transformation: The focus is on personal transformation, helping clients transcend their limitations and achieve a greater sense of being.

Sarah from Texas
"I've had 3 sessions with Christine--a reading and then 2 SRT sessions. In the first, I focused on the crippling anxiety I've suffered with since early childhood. Now, while I am extremely spiritual, the Capricorn in me is a bit of an open-minded, optimistic skeptic. I have been on various anti-anxiety cocktails for decades and therapy didn't work. I was shocked when my anxiety was virtually gone the next day. Christine is a compassionate, grounded, thorough, and obviously very gifted healer. Her services are worth every cent as I have finally gained a sense of peace and control I never thought possible. I can't wait to see where my spiritual path leads me as I continue to work with her!"

Coaching Process vs. Talk Therapy

The coaching process and talk therapy are both forms of guidance for personal growth and mental well-being, but they differ in their approach, goals, and focus.
Coaching is typically future-focused and goal-oriented. The aim is to help the client achieve specific personal, professional, or performance-related goals. Coaching generally focuses on the present and future. Coaches work with clients to identify their goals and create actionable plans to achieve them. The coach often uses structured techniques, frameworks, and tools to help clients move forward. This can involve setting goals, creating action steps, and holding clients accountable. The client is seen as capable of growth and change and is encouraged to take an active role in their process. The coach facilitates, but the client is the expert on their own life. Coaching tends to have a more defined timeline and is often shorter-term (weeks to months). It usually addresses specific issues such as career development, personal growth, leadership, and performance.
Talk therapy, or psychotherapy, is often a longer-term process aimed at addressing deeper emotional or psychological challenges. It is usually provided by licensed mental health professionals like psychologists or therapists. Therapy tends to be more about understanding past experiences, dealing with emotional or psychological issues, and working through mental health concerns (e.g., depression, anxiety, trauma).
Both approaches can complement each other. For instance, a person might seek therapy to work through past trauma and then turn to coaching to create a plan for future personal or professional success.

While Dr. Christine is working on her mental health license, she is currently only offering coaching sessions to help people find their purpose and meaning in life, help with practices and habits that can improve physical and mental well-being and achieve a peaceful life.
