A Bit About Me

Meet Dr. Christine

Dr. Christine Dolahan, PhD is a transpersonal coach, consultant, consciousness educator, and energy practitioner whose work brings together personal development, embodiment, spirituality, and consciousness exploration.

With a PhD in Transpersonal Psychology and an academic background in humanistic and transpersonal approaches to human development, Dr. Christine brings a thoughtful, multidimensional perspective to coaching and consulting.

Her approach may incorporate structured coaching methodologies, reflective dialogue, values exploration, mindfulness and embodiment practices, yoga-informed principles, and — for clients who desire them — complementary spiritual and energy-based practices such as Spiritual Response Therapy (SRT) and Usui Tibetan Reiki.

Rather than prescribing a particular path or outcome, Dr. Christine creates space for clients to reflect, explore new perspectives, clarify what matters to them, and identify meaningful ways to move forward.

She works with thoughtful, growth-oriented individuals who are interested in exploring questions of meaning, purpose, relationships, identity, spirituality, consciousness, and personal development.

Many clients come to this work while navigating a life transition, career or relationship change, evolving sense of identity, spiritual exploration, or a desire to create greater alignment between their inner values and everyday lives.

Her integrative approach can be understood through three dimensions:

Insight

Reflective dialogue, self-inquiry, values exploration, and greater awareness of personal patterns, perspectives, and possibilities.

Integration

Mindfulness, embodiment, yoga-informed practices, and practical tools for bringing greater intention and awareness into everyday life.

Spiritual & Energy Exploration

Optional complementary practices such as Reiki and Spiritual Response Therapy (SRT) for clients interested in exploring spiritual or energy-based perspectives as part of their personal-development journey.

Every person's experience is individual. Some clients choose a single focused session, while others prefer ongoing sessions that provide additional space for reflection, exploration, and integration. No particular outcome or timeframe for personal change is promised or guaranteed.

In addition to private coaching and consulting, Dr. Christine teaches Usui Tibetan Reiki, including practitioner training, and offers educational content exploring consciousness, spirituality, meaning-making, personal development, and transformative human experiences.

Dr. Christine's services are educational, developmental, spiritual, and complementary in nature. They do not constitute psychotherapy, psychological assessment, mental-health diagnosis or treatment, medical care, or other licensed healthcare services. Energy-based and spiritual practices are offered as complementary practices and are not intended to diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure medical or mental-health conditions.

When appropriate, this work may be pursued alongside care from licensed mental-health or healthcare professionals while remaining distinct from those services.

At the heart of Dr. Christine's philosophy is a simple guiding principle:

Integration precedes expansion.

Why I Do This

My interest in consciousness and the deeper questions of human existence began long before my formal education.

From an early age, I found myself curious about questions that were difficult to put into words: Who are we? What gives our lives meaning? How do our experiences shape who we become? And what might exist beyond our ordinary understanding of consciousness?

Those questions eventually became part of my academic path.

Through my studies in humanistic and transpersonal psychology and later my doctoral research, I became particularly interested in the ways people make meaning from profound, spiritual, symbolic, and transformative experiences.

My doctoral research explored prophecy as a transformative learning experience, examining the prophecies associated with Merlin, Nostradamus, and the Revelation of St. John through a theoretical and thematic lens. At the center of that research was a question that continues to inform my work today:

How do extraordinary experiences influence the way we understand ourselves, our lives, and the world around us?

Over time, my exploration expanded beyond academic study.

Through training and experience in coaching, yoga and embodiment practices, Reiki, Spiritual Response Therapy, meditation, and other approaches to personal and spiritual development, I became increasingly interested in how different frameworks can offer different ways of exploring the human experience.

I also came to appreciate the importance of maintaining clear distinctions between them.

Psychology can provide valuable academic frameworks for understanding human experience. Coaching can create space for reflection, goals, choices, and action. Embodiment practices can invite greater awareness of our lived experience. Spiritual traditions can offer frameworks for exploring meaning, consciousness, and questions that may extend beyond what can be empirically known.

These approaches do not have to become interchangeable in order to be meaningful.

My work is about creating a thoughtful space where these different dimensions of personal exploration can coexist — while honoring appropriate professional and ethical boundaries.

I do not believe my role is to provide all the answers.

My role is to ask meaningful questions, offer frameworks and perspectives, facilitate reflection, and support people in developing greater clarity about their own values, choices, and direction.

Ultimately, I believe meaningful growth is deeply personal.

It is less about becoming someone else's version of who you should be and more about developing the awareness and agency to determine what a meaningful, intentional, and aligned life looks like for you.

Integration precedes expansion.
